OATH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Leah Aguero vs. Matt Shields vs. Locke Helms ©
Locke Helms shocked OATH Pro Wrestling fans when he not only broke Reo Ojima's arm but ended the dominant World Champion's 200+ day reign last month at Brutalism. At that same event, Leah Aguero defeated Matt Shields to become the Number One Contender the top prize in an Inferno Match. In the weeks leading up to Last Resort we were under the impression that this match would be a one on one contest, with Leah looking to exact some revenge on behalf of her fallen mentor Ojima. But Matt Shields would not be denied and he maneuvered himself into a match for the Skeleton Key; a prize that grants the Keeper a title shot of their choice at a time of their choosing. Last week on Conviction while Helms and Aguero were having a verbal sparring match in the ring, Shields appeared an announced that he was adding himself to this championship match in what could be his final chance to "Rescue Blanche" (his pet name for the World Title). In his first defence, Helms has a tall order as he does not have to be pinned to lose the championship.
OATH TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
TAG TEAM MATCH
Super Kawaii Thunder Liger Squadron vs. Sweet Treats ©
After winning the Future Stars Award in the OATH Year End Awards in December of 2020, Sweet Treats set their sights on starting 2021 with a bang by challenging the dominant SKTLS for the Tag Team Titles. At Brutalism we saw the greatest Tag Team Title Match in OATH history where Sweet Treats were able to come out on top. The fans have demanded it and now we will see the rematch. These two teams have kept their distance from each other since Brutalism but there is an obvious mutual respect between them. Can Sweet Treats turn SKTLS away again or will the former champions leave Isla Desconocida as two time Tag Team Champions?
BLOODSPORT MATCH
Johnny Draco w/ Tiffany Lynn Page vs. James Edwards
In November of 2020 Johnny Draco found himself as the first challenger to James Edwards Tabula Rasa Championship reign. In a sterling Submission Count Anywhere Match Edwards was able to turn away the determined Draco. Born from that was a friendly rivalry between the two men that saw them team up to take on some mutual enemies. After succeeding in a challenge laid out by Edwards where Draco was able to defeat Jonathan Cage, Draco had earned another shot at Edwards' TR Title. Once again Draco was unable to secure the victory due in no small part to his manager Tiffany Lynn Page. Edwards made it very apparent that he did not agree with Tiffany's dirty tactics and he did his best to turn Draco away from those methods. Draco remained loyal to Tiffany, despite Edwards' best efforts. Ultimately it was Tiffany who cost Edwards his TR Title in a match against El Diablo Blanco. The following week Edwards asked Draco to team up with him to take on Tiffany's other clients The Social Elite. In that match Draco attacked Edwards' injured knee and showed his true colors. Edwards was fed up and challenged Draco to a Bloodsport Match where the only way to win is by submission, knockout, or referee stoppage. This long running issue will reach it's conclusion on the beaches of Isla Desconocida.
OATH INTREPID CHAMPIONSHIP
SINGLES MATCH
Stephanie Matsuda vs. Allen Chaney ©
On the first episode of Conviction in 2021 Allen Chaney kept his winning streak alive when he defeated Janica Jayden. After that match he invited beloved OATH Commentator Matt Mears into the ring to hold the microphone while Chaney spoke to the crowd. Chaney ended up dropping Mears with The Punchline and that drew the ire of Mears' commentary partner "Bad Mood" Ben Petrie. In the weeks that followed Chaney did everything he could to antagonize Petrie further and all Petrie could do was make acerbic comments about Chaney's weight. Chaney would go on to defeat Stephanie Matsuda for the Intrepid Championship at Brutalism and continued to rub his success in Petrie's face. When Chaney demanded that Petrie apologize for his comments and Petrie refused, Chaney went to Petrie's condo during an episode of Conviction and brutally assaulted Bad Mood's partner Gregory, force feeding him food before slamming Gregory's head in a fridge. This all occurred while Stephanie Matsuda was a guest on Petrie's Mood Ring interview segment in the middle of the ring. Matsuda decided to forego her plans to take a run at the World Title in order to get some revenge on behalf of the Petries and attempt to regain the Intrepid Title.

OATH TABULA RASA CHAMPIONSHIP
EL D'S HOUSE OF FUN MATCH
Kasey Kash vs. El Diablo Blanco ©
At the beginning of 2021 Kasey Kash was bound and determined to make his name in OATH. After ending 2020 with a big victory in War Games alongside the Sharpes and Bert Cocaine, Kash challenged El Diablo Blanco for the Livewire Championship. Kash was able to defeat El D and start a record setting run with the work horse title. In the case of El Diablo Blanco, he turned his attention to Switchblxde after the latter played a role in him losing the Livewire Title. Kash, Switch, and Bert brutally assaulted El D and sidelined him for several weeks. When he returned, El D defeated Switch in a brutal 200 Light Tube Death Match and earned himself a shot at the TR Title. He was able to end the record breaking reign of James Edwards, albeit under some controversy. Meanwhile, on Livewire, Kash was able to defend the championship five times consecutively and per the stipulation of the title he had earned a shot at the Tabula Rasa Championship. El D named his stipulation and that is El D's House Of Fun where trampolines are on opposite sides of the ring and floor length climbing ropes will be hanging from the lighting rig. Before heading to Isla Desconocida Kash has a Livewire Title defence scheduled but following that, win or lose, he will look to come to the Barlow's retreat and unseat El D for a second time this year. But this is El D's brainchild and even if it is taking place on a beach, you have to think that The Backyard Phenom has the advantage.
#1 CONTENDERSHIP: TAG TEAM TITLES
BEACH BRAWL ELIMINATION MATCH
The Hell Realm vs. Midnight Special vs. Social Elite vs. Mystery Team
For the past few months the tag team division in OATH has been on fire. There are a great deal of incredible teams and it has been a very tough climb to the top of the division. In a first for OATH, four teams will battle in a Beach Brawl Elimination Match. Tornado tag rules, no disqualification, no count outs. Last team standing earns a shot at the OATH Tag Team Titles. The Hell Realm are former champions and may be the favourite in this match but Social Elite are on a winning streak after defeating Midnight Special last week. Midnight Special were clearly unhappy with the loss, going as far to demand a rematch from OATH Executive Director Price Bridges. Bridges said that they would get their shot at payback and this is the match that he was vaguely referencing. But then there is the Mystery Team. We have no information on who this might be but a shadowy tandem is being brought to Isla Desconocida to take part in the Beach Brawl. This will be a real test for whichever team can come out on top and they will have definitely earned their opportunity at the Tag Team Titles.
SINGLES MATCH
Nicky Crawford vs. Brendon Phoenix
In a special showcase match, two hungry young competitors will look to impress OATH executives by kicking off this unique event. Nicky Crawford has had trouble finding his footing in OATH with various stops and starts. He and his sister Erika were able to end their rivalry with the Social Elite when they defeated the Mean Girls in a tag team Cage Match at Brutalism in January. In doing so they earn a shot at the OATH Tag Team Championship but they were unable to dethrone the champions Sweet Treats. An injury that Erika suffered in the Cage Match was made worse in their failed title bid and Erika was sidelined. Nicky feels responsible for letting his sister compete while injured and now he finds himself back in singles competition. Brendon Phoenix has had a similar run. He has picked up a handful of victories but has yet to have that breakout moment. One of these up and comers will walk out of Isla Desconocida with the victory. It all depends on who wants it more.
