• ENTRANCE DESCRIPTION •
The house lights go down, and the arena stays black during the garbled opening guitar riff of "My Name is Human" by Highly Suspect, then, "Okay." Strobe lights move with the easy beat of the song. James Edwards appears at the top of the ramp with the hood on his ring jacket up. He takes a few moments to survey everything before him. The hood goes down with the opening lyrics. Moving with the meandering pace of the music, his eyes never leave the ring. He laps the squared circle, slides under the bottom ropes, and bows martial arts style to all four corners before settling into his own.

• GIMMICK •
Introspective and humble by nature, he considers wrestling a sport and the ring is sacred to him. He hates fighters that treat it as a joke or a stepping stone to celebrity. To counter the growing "entitlement" in the sport he likes to try to set an example for what a fighter should be: respectful of the rules, staying out of other's business and settling scores in the ring. He tries find life lessons in his fights in a never-ending search for meaning in the violence he commits.

• FIGHTING STYLE •
Patient, efficient, and above all else, violent. James is the rare striker in professional wrestling that prefers to wait and exploit an opening in an opponent’s defense rather than empty the tank for an early victory. He wants the shots from his fists and feet to matter, so they aren’t flashy, or in his mind, wasteful. Recently, James has begrudgingly dipped his toes back into the submission game to offset his status as a smaller heavyweight. They are mostly used for defense: either to get an opponent off of him on the matt or as a way to cover up if he gets rocked.
